I'll admit the leader personalities add a little something to the Civ games, but objectively speaking, they're far from necessary. Age of Wonders 3 was a PC-only release, and Planetfall is no shallower than AoW3. Or, at the very least, I can say it as factually as you can speak to the contrary.Ĭan we just stop with this "console = dumbed down" fallacy already? This was true in the PS2 era because consoles simply lacked the processing power to run all the variables PC games could. I've played Civilization: Beyond Earth and I can state for an absolute fact that this is incorrect.
